I have been on a quest to get wine lovers to drink more sparkling wine, on non-special occasions. I love it just to celebrate a day in my life. I've started to find great pairings for sparkling wine whether it be with an appetizer or a meal. Sparkling wine can be paired just like a still wine. For instance, I'm in love with Cypress Grove Chevre's Humboldt Fog's goat cheese on a thin slice of French bread and Brut sparkling wine. This same cheese can be paired with a Sauvignon Blanc. So try switching up things a bit; if you would normally have a glass of Chardonnay with a meal have a Blanc De Blancs sparkling wine or if you would have a Pinot Noir with a meal try a Brut Rose` or Blanc De Noir sparkling wine with the dish. The bubbles just make me so happy!
